Unbroken

They called me morbidly obese, Told me no one would love me, That I was too much to ever be enough. I believed them—

Lost in the mirror, Trapped in a body I didn’t recognize, Too heavy with doubt to lift my head. But then, I found my tribe. A group that saw me, That picked up my broken pieces And slowly, carefully, Glued my bones back together.

Now, I stand— Unbroken, Rebuilt, Stronger than the weight I once carried. I don’t just exist anymore. I belong. I am loved. And I am whole.
